American Refining Group’s Lubricants and Specialty Products Division in Bradford, PA to be the Major Focus of the Company.

American Refining Group, Inc. (ARG) announced today that it had completed the sale of its Fuels Division to Buckeye Pipeline Company, the General Partner of Buckeye Partners, L. P., for an undisclosed sum. The assets sold by ARG to Buckeye include a refined petroleum products terminal and a transmix processing facility located in Indianola, Pennsylvania, a transmix processing facility located in Hartford, Illinois, and related assets. Buckeye will operate the newly acquired assets under the name of Buckeye Refining Company, LLC.

Harry Halloran, Chairman and CEO of American Refining Group, stated, "We are extremely pleased to have found such a suitable home for our transmix business. The sale will strengthen ARG and permit us to focus on our specialty petroleum business in Bradford, Pennsylvania. That business, acquired by ARG two years ago, will require significant capital investment in order to meet our customers’ future needs. "
