addition of quality Penn Grade™ RP 150 Rustproofing
Oil to its quality line of lubricants.
“This soft film rust preventative is designed to protect against rust and corrosion of metal surfaces under mildly corrosive indoor conditions. One main feature of this oil is its unique water displacement and fingerprint neutralizing properties, which makes RP 150 Rustproofing Oil ideally suited for parts in process,” stated Jennifer Taylor Marketing Assistant for Brad Penn® Lubricants.
Penn Gradeä RP 150 Rustproofing Oil is a light weight oil that contains Penn Gradeä base oils, solvent, and a unique combination of rust preventative additives. The solvent (which provides ease of application) evaporates and a thin, highly protective oil film adheres to the metal, protecting its surface. The metal wetting property is designed to displace the water and enhances drain off, promoting a moisture-free surface. Additionally, it neutralizes acids from fingerprints, which in turn prevents staining of the metal surface. This product’s unique water displacing and fingerprint neutralizing properties make it an excellent choice for a rust preventative oil in various interprocess applications.
For maximum protection, Penn Gradeä RP 150 Rustproofing Oil should be applied to clean surfaces. The product can be applied through brushing, spraying, or dipping. This product is designed for storage, shipment, or handling of steel sheeting, bearings and highly machined surfaces under relatively mild conditions.
